Episode 19: Writers Come to Philly

I had the great fortune of being able to attend the 2010 Philadelphia Writers' Conference. This video describes a bit of the conference, a bit of Philadelphia, and a good bit of the thoughts that occured to me while attending the conference and walking around Philly.
In case you were wondering, St Augustine's is the church seen in the video clip, and it has a lot of historic importance related to freedom of religion. It was actually burned down by an anti-Catholic mob, but rebuild with funds from the resulting lawsuit--which was an early test of the Bill of Rights. And of course Father did say "Tell your friends about us." So I gave the church a cameo in the Vlog.
The other two links go to the Philadelphia Writers Conference Website, and the Philadelphia Stories Magazine Website, and are included in case the vlog grabs your interest--which I certainly hope it does!
